In 2018 heeft Sloten een fontein gekregen: De Kievitfontein. Het kunstwerk staat op het Van der Walplein en is inmiddels een ware touristische attractie.
Museum Sloten – pure magic
Museum Sloten is lodged in the former city hall of Sloten, build in 1759-1761. It offers a surprising view on the towns history. It offers a surprising view on the towns history. Showpiece of the former town hall is the council chamber on the first floor. There you can watch the multimedia presentation ‘Sloten ideal city, whichs gives a suprising view on Sloten.
The building is fully accessible for disabled visitors.

The museum will reopen on june 5, all be it under corone conditions: you need to make a reservation here. The tourist info and the shop are already open, but acces is restricted to 2 'households' at a time.

Our winter closure is from november till march. We reopen on April 1st.
